About Joan

I love the idea of beauty as play, adornment, and exploration. At the same time,

I also find beauty in something pared down and stripped to its essence. I find joy in seeing someone's face light up when they see the possibility of their best self. 

 

For more than a decade, Joan has honed her craft in makeup and hair, working at CNBC, KQED, film and E-commerce. With a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and as a singer/songwriter, Joan brings a diverse set of experiences and skills to the ever changing landscape of the beauty industry.
